Lawmakers on each side of the aisle are calling on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign following a bombshell 165-page report launched by state Lawyer Normal Letitia James on Tuesday, confirming the New York Democrat sexually harassed 11 girls and retaliated towards a former worker for talking out.
The calls for come after a months-long investigation into the governor’s conduct, with Cuomo denying any wrongdoing.
“The report can’t say something totally different,” Cuomo advised reporters in April, “as a result of I didn’t do something unsuitable.”
Home Republican Convention Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) went so far as calling for Cuomo to be arrested for his conduct.

Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, additionally mentioned the governor ought to step down.

And Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) added that “nobody ought to be above the regulation.”
